Login to Multiple Accounts Using Gtalk

Have Multiple Google Accounts?
And want to login with both of them on Gtalk on single PC?
This is what I wanted to do as I’ve got two Google IDs, so I found out the way to run multiple GTalks simultaneously…
How to do it:
  1. Create a shortcut to GTalk on your desktop (if you dont have currently).
  2. Go to the properties of the shortcut. There in the target, you’ll see something like: “C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe”
  3. Add /nomutex to that target line. Then the line would be (Include the Quotes in the address) :

    “C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe” /nomutex
  4. Apply” it and then click “Ok”.
  5. Check out if it works, Enjoy Multi-GTalks!
Don’t forget to leave comments here if this works…[:)]
How this Works:
The mutex is short for mutual exclusion object. A mutex is a program object that allows multiple program threads to share the same resource, but not simultaneously.
So, in the hack above, we used nomutex (no-mutex) so to use the same resources simultaneously…

Make invisible folder

1.Create folder with no name<

Create Folders And Files With NO! Name>

2. right click>properties>customize>change icon>select icon shown in pic

Create Folders And Files With NO! Name

Create Folders And Files With NO! Name

This trick will allow you to create files and folders without any name.

Just follow the following steps:
1.Select any file or folder.
2.Right click on it, press rename or simply press F2.
3.Press and hold the alt key. While holding the Alt key, type numbers 0160 from the numpad.

Note: Type the numbers 0160 from the numpad, that is, the numbers present on the right side of the keyboard. Don't type the numbers which are present on top of the character keys.

4.Press Enter and the nameless file or folder will be created.

Reason: The file or folder that seems nameless is actually named with a single space.

But what if you want to create another nameless file or folder in the same directory ?

For this you will have to rename the file with 2 spaces. Just follow these steps below:

1.Select file, press F2.
2.Hold alt key and type 0160 from the numpad.
3.Release the alt key. Now without doing anything else, again hold alt key and press 0160.
4.Press enter and you will have second nameless file in the same directory.
5.Repeat step 3 to create as many nameless files or folders in the same directory.

Speed up your internet

Microsoft reserves 20% of your avaible bandwidth for their own purposes like Window Updates and interrogating your pc etc.
YOU CAN GET IT BACK :
  Click Start then Run and type "gpedit.msc" without quotes. This opens the group policy editor
Then go to:
::>  local computer policy
::> computer configuration
::> administrative Templates
::>Network
::>QOS packet Scheduler
::> Limit reservable Bandwidth.
Double click on the Limit Reservable bandwidth.
It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the "Explain" tab . i e. "by default, the Packet Scheduler
 limits the system to 20 percent of the band width of connection, but you can use this setting to override the deafult".
So trick is to Enable the reservable band width, then set it to zero.
This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather then default 20%

note :for window7 64 bit  Home Premium or Starter
JUST TYPE POLICY IN START AND HIT ENTER
.

No need to refresh now ......Facebook Rolls Out Real-time Comments

As developer Jesse Stay points out, Facebook has quietly rolled out a new feature that will update the comments on a users’ Live Feed or profile in real-time, without the need to refresh.
The social network has gradually incorporated Friendfeed features into its service, introducing likes and comments to a feeds. Facebook introduced these features before acquiring the service in August 2009. In October 2010, Facebook rolled out a new Groups feature that borrowed heavily from Friendfeed, adding the ability to share and discuss text, images, photos, videos and links in realtime.
The team behind Friendfeed, including FriendFeed co-founders Bret Taylor  and Paul Buchheit were absorbed into Facebook, helping to develop features like real-time comments, to the 600 million users registered with the service.
Yesterday it was reported that Facebook had enabled real-time analytics on Page Insights. Before, page admins would have to wait  before the insights would show up beneath wall posts, now they are instant. The introduction of live comments came quietly, without so much as a notification from the team at Facebook.
If you don’t have live comments enabled,

10 Tricks for Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and LinkedIn

10 Tricks for Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and LinkedIn

We all spend so much time during our working day on social networks and we often find features that most people don’t know about. As such, we wanted to create a list here of a few hidden gems that will make your day a little easier. We’ve focused on the big 4: LinkedinTwitterFacebook andYoutube.

Youtube Lyrics Plugin

This only works for Google Chrome users but is an incredibly useful tool for anybody who wants to watch the lyrics to their favorite songs as they watch a video on Youtube. Lyrics are one of the most searched for terms on Google so it makes sense to save time and put music videos and lyrics together in one window. Works perfectly from what we can see.

Youtube Disco

There is tons of great free music on Youtube but most people spend their time searching for videos or using play lists. Why not let Youtube do all the hard work for you instead? Head over to Youtube Disco, type in the artist you love and let Youtube do the rest of the work for you a la Pandora. It means you have your own personal DJ and never have to pay for music again. Great for parties.

Youtube Editor

Editing video can be a real pain but and a very time consuming affair but luckily Youtube now lets you take some of the pain out of the process by providing an online editor where you can mash together videos that you have already uploaded, trim videos or even add music from their selection of tracks. Great for making small changes.

Linkedin Recommend Button On Your Website Or Blog

Everybody wants to get recommended on Linkedin as it’s a great way of getting new business. This relatively new feature lets you do that by embedding a small button on your site that will prompt users to do that in a flash. You can read more here about how to add the button to your site.

Linkedin CV Creator

Another recent innovation from Linkedin that allows you to export all your data and previous work history and education in to a nicely formatted CV with one simple click. This means that rather than having to fire up Word and format a document as long as your information is in order on Linkedin you should have you CV ready to go in seconds to find that dream job.

Find Friends By Email On Twitter

This one might seem very obvious as it’s one of the first screens that you are presented with when you sign up to Twitter but most people never go back to it again. Search your email address book on Twitter these days and you’d be surprised who has joined Twitter since you joined and you’ll find lots of your real life friends to follow on Twitter.

Turning Twitter Location On/Off

The ability to add your location on Twitter has been around for some time with many people claiming it could be a huge part of their business model but to date the only people using it have been techie people trying it out and it’s far from hitting the mainstream. It is turned off by default but if you want to add your location on Twitter simply go to settings and tick the box.

Search Way Back On Twitter

Twitter Search is an incredibly powerful tool but one of the major flaws with Twitter has always been the ability to search back over time. There are several options but the one we find the best is Topsywhich will give you pretty accurate historical links going back as far as May 2008. You won’t find every single piece of information you are looking for but this is about the best historical minded social search engine.

Location Targeted Facebook Updates

Your Facebook page probably has a decent following from lots of different countries and one message might only appeal to a certain country while offending another. Luckily, Facebook lets you target updates by country or by language. Once you select a country it will also let you target the update by city. Used correctly this is a great tool for local businesses or brands who have a reach around multiple countries.
When you have written your update hit the little lock symbol on the bottom right and that will give you a list of options around the targeting of the update.

Embedding Facebook Videos

Most people are very familiar with embedding videos from Youtube and you’ll see them all over the web on 3rd party sites but fewer people embed videos from Facebook. You’ll find an “embed video” button on the video page and it’s a great way of adding high quality video to your site. (If you don’t have embed button read here or install greasemonkey script.) The big added bonus is that the Facebook video includes a like button within the video (if you don’t already like the page) which can help you to increase your likes dramatically if you embed your video on a site or blog with a large amount of traffic. You’ll find the embed link under the videos on Facebook and you’ll be given a piece of code which you can add to your website or blog.
